The evolution of an artist is a long, winding journey of creative exploration—and for me, that journey is beautifully endless. Watercolor is my chosen medium, and I’m a 100% self-taught artist. My path has been one of continuous, self-directed study and discovery. This approach allows me to work without rigid expectations or formulas, trusting instinct over instruction. Over time, I’ve developed a style that is simple, vibrant, and realistic—one that flows naturally from brush to paper.

I’m drawn to peaceful, serene places, and I believe that sense of tranquility is reflected in my work. Living in the foothills of the Himalayas, I’m blessed to be just a short journey away from breathtaking landscapes, which never fail to inspire. Nature is not only my subject—it’s my guide.

Art, for me, finds its true worth in emotional connection. My constant aim is to create works that offer a quiet refuge—visual spaces that speak to the soul and offer a moment of escape, reflection, and calm.

Watercolor is a living medium—it flows, moves, and surprises. I’ve learned to let go of rigid control and allow the pigment and water to guide me. My painting process is a conversation with the medium itself: immediate, intuitive, and open to unexpected turns. In doing so, I enter into a relationship with the art that is vulnerable, honest, and ever-evolving.

While watercolor remains my favorite, I also work across a wide range of media—pen and ink, collage, pastels, acrylics, oils, and etching—often blending multiple techniques into a single piece. For over 20 years, I’ve explored how watercolors interact with other materials, including on canvas, creating fresh techniques and textures that expand the possibilities of this extraordinary medium.

I’m also deeply passionate about teaching art. In addition to my regular classes and online courses, I conduct workshops and demonstrations in watercolor, drawing, travel sketching, color mixing, and mixed media. I teach individuals from age 9 to 90, and also offer art therapy sessions that use techniques like mandalas and doodling to relieve anxiety and promote mindfulness.
